About PhotoResize

Why this site exists

Resizing an image should not require installing an editor or uploading a private photo to an unknown service. PhotoResize provides a general resizer for exact pixel dimensions, plus focused tools for KB limits, social media sizes, PDFs, and Indian exam photo requirements. The image work happens in the browser, and the exam presets make strict form requirements easier to meet.

Privacy by design

The resizer, compressor, and JPG to PDF tools use the Canvas API and never send your image to a server. There is no account, no image storage, and no upload queue. The files you choose remain on your device; only the finished file is created locally in the browser tab.

Specifications are not official

The exam presets are best-known placeholders marked unverified. Exam authorities can change dimensions, file-size limits, and accepted formats between cycles. Each exam page links to the official source, and the disclaimer is deliberately explicit: this site is not affiliated with any government body. Please verify the current notification before submitting an application.

What the tools do

• Resize any image to exact width and height, with crop or fit.
• Resize and crop a photo or signature to an exam preset.
• Compress a JPEG into a required minimum and maximum KB range.
• Convert HEIC phone photos locally before processing.
• Compress an image to a simple KB target when no dimensions are specified.
• Combine JPG images into a multi-page A4 PDF.
