Guide
How the JPG to PDF converter works
This converter is intentionally simple. Add JPG images, put them in the order you want, and generate a PDF. Each image becomes one A4 page, scaled to fit within the margins without cropping. The source photos are read locally, rotated according to their EXIF orientation, and re-encoded as JPEG before being embedded in the PDF.
Because the PDF is assembled in your browser, there is no upload step and no file stored on a server. That makes the tool suitable for documents you would rather not send to an unknown website. It is not a replacement for a scanner app when you need text search, OCR, or a specific PDF/A archival format.
For exam forms, check whether the portal asks for separate JPG files rather than a PDF. Many photo and signature fields accept only JPG, and combining them can make the upload invalid. When a portal specifically asks for a PDF, keep the pages in the order named in the instructions and check the finished file before submitting.
Steps
- Select one or more JPG images. They stay on your device.
- Reorder the files so the PDF pages appear in the correct sequence.
- Select “Create PDF”. Each image is fitted inside an A4 page.
- Download the finished PDF and confirm the pages before uploading it to a portal.
JPG or PDF: which should an exam form use?
| Use case | Better format | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Photo upload field | JPG | Most portals accept only JPEG for photos and signatures. |
| Signature upload field | JPG | Exact pixel and KB presets apply; a PDF is usually rejected. |
| Scanned document enclosure | Multiple pages can be combined into one attachment. | |
| Printing or archiving | Page layout stays consistent across devices. |
Preparing an exam photo? Start with the exam preset directory. Need to change pixel dimensions first? Use the image resizer. You can also compress to 20KB, compress to 50KB, or compress to 100KB before combining files.
Questions
JPG to PDF FAQ
Can I combine multiple JPG files into one PDF?
Yes. Select several JPG images, reorder them with the up and down buttons, and generate a single PDF. Each image becomes one page.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The images and the PDF are processed entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to this website or a third-party server.
Which page size is used?
The PDF uses A4 portrait pages and fits each image inside a small margin. Photos are not stretched out of proportion.
Can I use PNG or HEIC files?
This page is for JPG/JPEG files. Convert HEIC or PNG to JPG first with the relevant tool, then add the JPG files here.
Does the PDF have selectable text?
No. The PDF contains image pages only, so text inside a photo is not searchable. Use OCR software if you need searchable text.
