Privacy Policy

The short version

Images used in the photo resizer, signature resizer, compressor, and JPG to PDF tools are processed entirely in your browser. They are not uploaded to PhotoResize, stored on a server, or sent to an advertising service. The site does not require an account.

Image processing

The tools read a file you select, apply rotation and cropping, draw the result to a canvas, and create a downloadable file in your browser. This processing does not involve a network request for the image. Closing or refreshing the page discards the in-memory copy.

Information the site may receive

Like most static websites, the hosting provider may process standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamps in server logs for security and reliability. PhotoResize does not use those logs to identify you or to reconstruct your images.

Cookies, local storage, and consent

The site stores your cookie choice in browser local storage under a key named photoresize-consent-v1. This is used to remember whether you accepted advertising cookies. The Google AdSense loader script is included on every page so Google can verify that this site belongs to the AdSense account. Ad units are only activated after you choose “Accept ads”; if you choose “Essential only”, no ad slot is requested. Google may still process technical request data when the loader is served, as described in its own privacy policy.

You can clear this choice at any time by clearing site data in your browser. Blocking cookies through browser settings does not stop the image tools from working.

Google AdSense

The AdSense publisher ID is configured for this site, but the advertising slot IDs are not yet active, so no manual ad units are displayed. When ad units are enabled and you accept ads, Google and its partners may collect information about your visit under their own privacy policies. Google's advertising policies and controls are described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Depending on your region, you may see a consent prompt from Google or another consent management tool.

Third-party links

Exam pages link to official government or recruitment websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies and may set their own cookies. PhotoResize does not control third-party websites.

Children

The site is intended for people preparing application documents and is not directed at children under 13. No account or personal profile is created.

Changes to this policy

Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
